What did they wear?

What do the Argives wear? What do you think? Tunic probably. Well what are they and why do Argives wear them? 
      The women wear a long square cloth. They would fold it in a certain way and put pins to hold it. They usually put a rope as belt. The women's dresses would always come down to the floor.
       The men wore a tunic called a chinton. They also used pins to hold up the square cloth. The men's clothing was shorter than the women's.
         Wealthy people used colored cloth. The cloth was already expensive at the markets. At the markets people would sell cloth that was made by women or slaves.
       People would usually wear no shoes. If they needed to they would wear sandals or boots made out of leather.
       For women, they would keep their hair long and give it a detailed hairstyle. Metal headbands were very popular.
